A toiletry bag is a portable bag used to store toiletries, personal care products, and travel essentials; it's also known as a bath bag, shower bag, or bath pouch. Originating in bathing settings, it has now expanded into an everyday storage tool for business trips, travel, and other scenarios. In northern China, it's often called a "bath pouch," while in southern China, it's commonly called a "toiletry bag." Common materials include PVC plastic, leather, mesh, and imitation linen. PVC is lightweight and inexpensive, mesh is breathable and moisture-proof, and imitation linen can support up to 15 kg.
Its core function is categorized storage, integrating cleaning supplies such as toothbrushes, facial cleansers, and collapsible water bottles, as well as travel accessories like mosquito repellent bracelets and portable tableware. Some models include built-in compressed face towels and inflatable pillows. Modern designs incorporate waterproof nylon, wet and dry separation compartments, and handles, balancing water resistance and convenience. The capacity can be expanded to hold multiple bottles of lotion and moisturizer simultaneously.
